Kingham Annual Meetings
We have two annual meetings. The first is the Meeting of Parishioners, open to all residents of the parish and anyone else on the Church Electoral Roll, and is to elect churchwardens for St Andrew’s, Kingham. The second meeting is the Annual Parochial Church Meeting, at which those on the Church Electoral Roll can vote. This meeting hears reports of activities of the PCC (Parochial Church Council) for the calendar year 2023 and elects members of the PCC for the next year. Please do speak to David if you’d like to stand for election, or ask questions about these meetings.
Seeking God in Prayer
As Christians we don’t have any particular power of our own but we have a great God, so we meet to pray to Him. In this monthly meeting we worship him for who he is and then focus on a particular aspect of the life of the church in our prayers.

All Saints Flower & Art Festival
As part of ‘Teas on the Green’ we thought it would be lovely to reintroduce a flower festival at All Saints, Churchill. Please come and have a look round our beautiful church and admire the flowers and artwork. Mark will also be playing our splendid organ at various times through the afternoon.

We join with our brothers and sisters around the Chipping Norton Team in St Mary’s Church, Chipping Norton.
There’s very limited parking near the church so, if possible, please go to the car park off New Street (OX7 5LJ), then walk down the hill and through Distons Lane to the church.

Each year we bring our gardening tools and work together to clear and tidy up the Old Churchyard on Hastings Hill in Churchill. It’s an important job and very satisfying, working together.

With two church buildings, working out what service is on where and when is not easy! Hopefully, the list below will get you there. Occasionally, there are changes to the schedule. It is therefore a good idea to look at the current month’s copy of Church News or there are always monthly lists on the church noticeboards.
Our Facebook page also notifies you each week of where the services are.
9am services are from the Book of Common Prayer and use traditional English. 10.30 services use more contemporary language and are aimed at people of all ages.

There is always a creche available at the 10.30am service, with a responsible adult there to help.
When there’s a fifth Sunday in the month we meet at 10.30 in St Mary’s Chipping Norton with other members of the team.
In addition to these morning services we also have occasional afternoon services: Evening Prayer at St Peter’s Daylesford and Messy Church in Churchill Village Hall. Please check Church News for details.
