Support Our Churches

Every generous gift we receive allows our churches in Kingham and Churchill to continue serving the local community and beyond. Your donation, whether one-off or recurring, directly impacts the church and our ability to support those in need, whilst sharing the hope and love that is found in Christ.

Donating to St Andrew’s Kingham

The money you donate helps to pay for the church staff and the structure of the church so that it is always available. We are part of a long tradition - there has been a church in Kingham for at least a thousand years. The church is there for you and the community, not only for baptisms, marriages, and funerals but as a centre for faith on a daily basis and your donations assure that it can continue.

In the last twenty years we have relied on donations from church-members to supply the regular expenses of the church (roughly £40,000 per year) and some of the irregular costs of repairing the church building.

We did not, however, manage to build up the capital sums needed to keep with the true costs of maintaining an old and historic building. Also, in recent years, as some of our regular donors have left the village and others died, our income has not kept pace with outgoings. In the face of a large bill to make necessary repairs and develop the church building we will launch an extensive campaign to raise funds for that work. Your donations will be vital to sustain the regular work of the church alongside that specific fund-raising effort.

The Parish Giving Scheme link will give you all the information you need to help support us financially.

If you would like to speak with someone about this scheme please contact Mr John Dewar (01608 658549) who will be able to help you or find someone who can.

Thank you!
